Butch and Linda Hammer started their
business in 1989.  Their primary
theme is 22k gold line products using
both northwest and southwest designs
on ceramic clay that is fired at 1940º.
The glaze has all been tested and is
food safe.  All products are glazed
inside and out. The 22k gold is real.
All of the items are handmade one of a
kind and signed.
(Butch) or Duane does the clay
work, the firing, and helps with the
design.
Linda  does the painting and design.
She has been doing ceramics for over
30 years.
Thank You! For your interest in our product made from earth and tempered with fire!   Butch and Linda Hammer

Horsehair Pottery
The fine dark lines in this pottery are created using horsehair. This is done by throwing horsehair onto the pottery when it reaches about 1600 degrees during firing. The horsehair burns when i touches the hot pottery leaving ta carbon stain cooked into it, making a beautiful and unique one of a kind pattern on each piece.
